W alton/Stout, Inc. has been designing, manufacturing, and installing equipment for the plastics, process, chemical, and food markets since 1969. Walton/Stout currently employs approximately 65 people in its headquarters located in Lithonia, Georgia, 20 miles east of downtown Atlanta on Interstate 20. Walton/Stout's facilities include a building of approximately 50,000 sq. ft. located on 10 acres in Lithonia. The facilities include complete sheet metal manufacturing and fabrication equipment to roll, shear, punch, and brake, and a welding department for stainless steel, aluminum, or mild steel. Walton/Stout further offers in-house painting and in-house electrical design and fabrication groups for system controls. In addition, the Walton/Stout Project Management group is dedicated to handling systems projects from beginning to end. Corporate Sales and Engineering are located at this facility. Walton/Stout also maintains maufacturer's representatives for their product line in major markets throughout the United States and overseas. In 1993 Walton/Stout purchased the assets of Todd Manufacturing Company, which was established in 1967 with a primary focus on providing material handling and air pollution control equipment to hot mix asphalt producers throughout the United States. By the early 1970s, a product line of pneumatic conveying systems for fly ash mineral filler dust was field proven. Recognizing the company's unique capabilities in bulk material handling systems, dust control, and overall system design and support, Todd Manufacturing began to focus on the broad industrial market. Today, Walton/Stout is a rapidly growing company supplying a wide range of bulk material handling systems to the industry. As a single-source supplier, Walton/Stout provides innovative design, quality, and value, and is known for its unique level of response, flexibility, and customer service. As a result, Walton/Stout has a complete staff to coordinate the overall design, production, installation, and start-up of your material handling system. Primary Markets Served: Walton/Stout serves a wide range of industries, including ceramics, food, industrial and hazardous waste, plastics, pharmaceuticals, household and consumer products, packaging, photographic appliances, mining, and foundry, with a full line of bulk material handling systems that includes either dense phase or dilute phase pneumatic conveying, bulk storage silos, railcar unloaders, batch and continuous weighing, bulk bag unloading, air pollution control, and process controls.
